  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 0.75 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

Place the chopped dates in a heatproof bowl. Pour the boiling water over the dates and let them soak for 10 minutes to soften. Set aside.
