  • 1 cup Brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Hot water
  • 1.25 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, dissolve the instant coffee granules in hot water. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a medium-sized bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
