  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 75 grams chocolate chips or chunks (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and chopped dark chocolate. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth. Let it cool slightly.

Add the granulated sugar and light brown sugar to the melted chocolate mixture, whisking until combined and glossy.

Whisk in the vanilla extract, followed by the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
