Directions

Step 1

Chop the bittersweet chocolate finely and set aside in a medium bowl.

In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar. Place over medium heat and whisk occasionally until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
