  • 3 whole ripe bananas
  • 120 g dark chocolate chips
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry sheets
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lightly dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets as needed to ensure even thickness.

Cut each puff pastry sheet into three equal rectangles, for a total of 6 rectangles.

Peel the bananas and slice them into halves crosswise. You should have six banana halves in total.

In the center of each puff pastry rectangle, place one banana half and sprinkle about 20 grams of dark chocolate chips over the banana.

Step 6

Fold the long sides of the pastry rectangle over the banana and chocolate, then fold the short sides to seal. Use your fingers to press the edges together and ensure the bundle is tightly sealed.

Transfer the bundles seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet.
