Ingredients

  • 150 grams Roasted coffee beans
  • 200 grams Milk chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoons Vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

Step 2

Melt the milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler method) or in the microwave in 15-20 second intervals, stirring well after each interval.

Step 3

Once the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, stir in the unsalted butter and vanilla extract until combined.

Step 4

Allow the chocolate to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes but ensure it remains smooth and melted.

Step 5

Add the roasted coffee beans into the melted chocolate and stir gently until all the coffee beans are fully coated.

Step 6

Using a fork or a small slotted spoon, lift the chocolate-coated coffee beans one at a time and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they don’t stick together.

Step 7

Once all the beans are placed on the sheet, let them rest for 5 minutes at room temperature to allow the chocolate to slightly firm up.

Step 8

Dust the beans with cocoa powder evenly using a small mesh sieve for a fine coating.

Step 9

Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set.

Step 10

Once set, gently remove the choco latte coffee beans from the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
