Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Turkey cutlets
  • 2 teaspoons Chipotle chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 pieces Lime wedges (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the chipotle chili powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the spice rub.

Step 2

Pat the turkey cutlets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Spread the spice rub evenly on both sides of each cutlet, pressing gently to help the seasoning adhere.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering. Carefully place the turkey cutlets in the skillet, avoiding overcrowding the pan.

Step 4

Cook the cutlets for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Adjust heat if necessary to prevent burning.

Step 5

Once fully cooked, drizzle the cutlets with lime juice and transfer them to a serving plate.

Step 6

Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
