Ingredients

  • 1 lb Raw shrimp (peeled and deveined, tail-on or tail-off)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 peppers Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 2 tbsp Adobo sauce (from the chipotle peppers can)
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Cumin (ground)
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro (chopped, for garnish)
  • 4 wedges Lime wedges (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a blender or food processor, combine the chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, lime juice, honey, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth, then set aside.

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
