  • 4 pieces Burger buns, toasted
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato, sliced
  • 0.5 cup Red onion, sliced
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Adobo sauce (from the chipotles)
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced chipotle peppers, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix to avoid dense burgers.

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾-inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up as they cook.
