  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, finely grated
  • 3 stalks Green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 0.5 cup Water chestnuts, diced
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 8 large leaves Romaine or butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil.

Step 2

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the ground chicken or pork to the skillet. Break it up with a spoon and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through.
