Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the beef against the grain into bite-sized strips. In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, then toss with the beef to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes.

While the beef marinates, prepare the sauce by whisking together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and water or beef stock in a medium bowl until smooth. Set aside.
