In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, green onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, cabbage, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined to create the filling.
Prepare a small bowl of water to use for sealing the dumpling wrappers.
Place a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface and spoon about 1 teaspoon of filling into the center.
