  • 500 grams Chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 1 large Bell pepper, sliced (any color)
  • 2 teaspoons Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Chicken stock
  • 2 stalks Scallions, sliced

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2

In a bowl, toss the chicken with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch until evenly coated. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the chicken pieces in batches until browned and almost cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
