Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Cooked crab legs
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon White pepper

Directions

Step 1

Thaw and clean the cooked crab legs, breaking them into sections if necessary. Pat them dry with a paper towel and set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, granulated sugar, and chicken broth. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.

Step 3

In another small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Set aside.

Step 4

Heat a large wok or skillet over medium heat, then add the butter. Once melted, sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 5

Add the crab legs to the wok and toss them gently to coat with the butter mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes to warm the crab through.

Step 6

Pour the prepared soy sauce mixture over the crab and toss to coat evenly. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Step 7

Drizzle the cornstarch slurry into the wok, stirring gently to thicken the sauce. Allow it to cook for an additional minute until the sauce has a glossy consistency.

Step 8

Sprinkle the sliced green onions, sesame oil, and white pepper over the crab. Give everything one final toss to combine.

Step 9

Transfer the crab to a serving platter. Serve hot, and enjoy your delicious Chinese Buffet Style Crab!
