Ingredients

  • 500 grams Prawns (peeled and deveined)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (finely minced)
  • 2 pieces Red chili (finely chopped, adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 stalks Spring onions (chopped, for garnish)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, lime juice, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce. Set aside.

Step 2

Pat the prawns dry with a paper towel and season them with salt and black pepper.

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil.

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and chopped red chili. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the prawns to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
