Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh tarragon (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt (for herb mayonnaise)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper (for herb mayonnaise)

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet or saucepan, combine water, white wine, lemon slices, dill, bay leaf, black peppercorns, and salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

Gently place the salmon fillets (skin-side down) into the poaching liquid. Reduce the heat to low and poach for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
