Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Papad (lentil wafer)
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion

  • 2 tablespoons, finely chopped Cilantro (coriander leaves)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Chaat masala
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black salt (optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoons, or to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon, for roasting Oil or ghee

Directions

Step 1

Heat a flat skillet or tawa over medium heat.

Step 2

Lightly brush each papad with a tiny amount of oil or ghee to prevent sticking.

Step 3

Place one papad on the skillet, pressing it slightly with a spatula to ensure even roasting. Roast each side for about 30-40 seconds or until the papad puffs and turns golden brown. Repeat with all papads.
