Ingredients

  • 400 grams Paneer
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 6 tablespoons Water
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 units Green chili, slit
  • 1 large Onion, diced
  • 1 large Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 large Red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Red chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Spring onion, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, salt, and white pepper powder. Gradually add water and mix well to form a smooth batter.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Step 4

Dip paneer cubes into the batter ensuring they are coated well and fry in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for a minute until fragrant.
