Ingredients

  • 500 grams Broccoli florets
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Wash the broccoli florets thoroughly and set them aside to drain.

Step 2

In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, taking care not to burn it.

Step 4

Sprinkle in the red chili flakes and stir for another 10 seconds to release their flavor.
