Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Horseradish (prepared)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Honey
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approximately 375–400°F). If using a charcoal grill, prepare a two-zone fire with direct and indirect heat.

Step 2

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place them on a plate or baking sheet. Season on both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil and rub the seasonings evenly into the chicken.

Step 3

While the grill heats up, prepare the white barbecue sauce. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, horseradish, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste and set the sauce aside.

Step 4

Place the seasoned chicken thighs on the grill, skin-side down. Cook for 5–6 minutes, until the skin is crisp and golden brown.

Step 5

Flip the chicken thighs and move them to the indirect heat zone (or reduce the heat to medium if using a gas grill). Close the lid and cook for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.

Step 6

Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving platter and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.

Step 7

Generously brush the chicken with the prepared white barbecue sauce, or serve the sauce on the side for dipping.

Step 8

Enjoy your Chicken with White Barbecue Sauce alongside your favorite sides!
