Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet, and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften and release their juices.

Sprinkle the dried oregano over the tomatoes and stir to combine.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them among the tomatoes.

Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly over the chicken and tomatoes.
