Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to medium and add unsalted butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet for added flavor.
