  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 12 pieces toothpicks

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.

Place the chicken breasts on a clean cutting board and butterfly them—slice horizontally through the middle, but not all the way through, so they open up like a book.
