  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
