  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups cooked basmati rice

Directions

Step 1

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season them on both sides with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the finely diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
