  • 16 pieces Frozen potato and cheese pierogies
  • 3 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or lightly butter it.

Step 2

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
