Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts evenly with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.

Once the butter is melted and the oil is hot, sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
