Preheat your grill, grill pan, or skillet to medium-high heat.
Trim any excess fat from the chicken breasts. Place each breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound gently with a meat mallet until the chicken is an even thickness, about 1/2 inch thick.
Brush both sides of the chicken breasts with olive oil and season evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill or skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
While the chicken is resting, toast the burger buns until lightly golden. You can do this on the grill, in a toaster, or under the broiler.
Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the cut sides of each bun.
