Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces Cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
  • 0.75 cups Dry Marsala wine
  • 0.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoons Fresh thyme leaves
  • 0.25 cups Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board, cover them with plastic wrap, and pound them to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch using a meat mallet.

Step 2

In a shallow bowl, mix the flour with salt and black pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
