Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 8 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 0.25 cup White vinegar
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme (fresh or dried)
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and sear the other side for another 3–4 minutes. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
