Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

Step 1

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness to ensure even cooking.

Step 2

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Mince the garlic and finely chop the onion.

Step 5

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
