Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
