  • 0.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • 1 cups Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cups Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 cups Olive oil
  • 2 cups Tomato sauce
  • 1 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Slice each chicken breast horizontally to make two thin cutlets. Pound the cutlets lightly to achieve an even thickness.

Step 3

Set up a dredging station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beat eggs in a second dish, and combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper in a third dish.

Step 4

Dredge each chicken cutlet first in flour, shaking off the excess, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
