  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 ounces chow mein noodles
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 0.25 cup water

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and place in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, and cornstarch to the chicken. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Toss with 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
