Season the chicken breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside. They don't need to be fully cooked yet.
