Ingredients

  • 500 grams Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300 grams Broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the lemon juice, lemon zest, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and water. Whisk until smooth and set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
