Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces Cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.5 cup Dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Dredge the chicken breasts in the all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-6 minutes, until they are browned and tender.
