Ingredients

  • 1 piece cobb loaf (round bread loaf)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup asparagus spears, chopped
  • 250 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 stalks spring onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).

Step 2

Cut the top off the cobb loaf and set it aside. Hollow out the inside of the loaf to create a bread bowl, reserving the removed bread pieces for dipping.

In a frying pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil and butter. Add the minced garlic and chopped asparagus and sauté for 3–4 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender.
