  • 100 grams Plain yogurt
  • 12 pieces Almonds (blanched and ground to a paste)
  • 10 pieces Cashews (blanched and ground to a paste)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 200 milliliters Water
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (finely chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Step 2

Heat the cooking oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for about 30 seconds until aromatic.

Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
