  • 500 grams chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 250 grams button mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 500 grams gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and sear on both sides until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Finely dice the onion and mince the garlic, then sauté them in the skillet until softened, about 3 minutes.

Slice the mushrooms and add them to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms release their moisture and begin to brown.
