Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 30 grams Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 stalks Green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 Egg, lightly beaten
  • 50 grams Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red chili flakes (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped cilantro, green onions, and minced garlic.

Step 2

Add soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, panko breadcrumbs, chili flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined.

Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, shape the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a plate or tray as you go.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
