Ingredients

  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 lb Asparagus
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Wash the asparagus and trim off the woody ends. Cut the asparagus into 2-inch pieces.

Step 3

Peel and finely grate the ginger. Mince the garlic cloves.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, cornstarch, and water to create the ginger sauce. Set aside.

Step 5

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken strips to the skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
