Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry sheet
  • 300 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 150 grams feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 5 leaves fresh basil leaves
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2

Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto the prepared baking tray. Using a sharp knife, lightly score a border about 1.5 cm (0.5 inch) from the edges to create a crust. Be careful not to cut through completely.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash. Brush the border of the puff pastry with the egg wash to help it turn golden during baking.

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.
