Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 150 grams Fresh spinach
  • 100 grams Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 60 grams Bread crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 1 large Tomato

Directions

Step 1

Wash and finely chop the fresh spinach.

Step 2

Mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped spinach, shredded cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly using your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1.5 cm thick.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the burgers are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
