Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 peppers Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
