  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet to elevate the chicken wings.

Step 2

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
