Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the granulated sugar and continue beating for another 1 to 2 minutes until well incorporated.
