Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package Crescent roll dough (refrigerated)
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef, onion, and minced garlic until the beef is fully browned and the onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Step 3

Season the beef mixture with salt and black pepper. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, mixing until well combined. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 4

Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press the perforations together to form one solid sheet of dough.

Step 5

Spread the beef mixture evenly down the center of the dough, leaving about 2-3 inches on each side. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the beef.

Step 6

Carefully fold the sides of the dough over the filling, overlapping them slightly to create a loaf shape. Press the seams and ends to seal.

Step 7

Brush the beaten egg over the top of the loaf. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top, if desired.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 9

Let the loaf cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
