Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 120 grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 100 grams Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 60 grams Fresh spinach leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 8 pieces Toothpicks

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil and set aside.

Step 2

Using a sharp knife, carefully slice a pocket into the thickest part of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped spinach, half the salt, and half the black pepper. Mix well to create a creamy stuffing mixture.

Step 4

Spoon an even amount of the cheese mixture into each chicken breast pocket. Secure the openings with toothpicks to prevent the filling from oozing out during cooking.

Step 5

Rub the outside of the chicken breasts with olive oil, then season evenly with the remaining salt, pepper, and paprika.

Step 6

Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Step 7

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Alternatively, transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish if not using an oven-safe skillet.

Step 8

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).

Step 9

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Carefully remove toothpicks before plating.

Step 10

Serve the cheese-stuffed chicken breasts hot with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad.
