  • 200 grams Button mushrooms
  • 200 grams Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or mozzarella)

  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley or cilantro
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and slice them thinly.

Step 2

Mince the garlic and finely chop the fresh parsley or cilantro.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat the butter or olive oil over medium heat.

Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and are golden brown.
